District 73 is composed of Aspen Elementary School, Hawthorn Elementary North, Hawthorn Elementary South, Townline Elementary School, Hawthorn Middle School North, Hawthorn Middle School South, School of Dual Language, and Lincoln Early Learning Center. All eight of the schools are located in Vernon Hills, IL zip code 60061 except for Lincoln Early Learning Center which is located in Mundelein IL zip 60060. The district operates on a single schedule with the school year beginning late August and ending in mid-June. All Hawthorn schools follow “the Hawthorn Comprehensive Curriculum, a set of documents which incorporate Illinois and the Common Core Standards for learning”.
